The JETPHARMA GROUP, owned by Family Martinoli and specialising in the MICRONIZATION TECHNOLOGY, began in 1978 with the establishment of
"MICROCHEM" by Alberto Martinoli,
a pioneer of fluid energy spiral jet milling technology in Europe.
Since commencing operations, MICROCHEM's objective has been to offer the finest "Contract
Micronization Services" for bulk Active Pharmaceutical and
Excipient Ingredients to the European Pharmaceutical Industry.
Within a few years, Mr. Martinoli expanded operations with the formation of "AGM Impianti Srl"
in Fiorenzuola d'Arda. The sole focus of AGM Impianti has been the
Research & Development of fluid energy spiral jet milling technology and the manufacturing
of the JETPHARMA GROUP's own MC JETMILL® micronization
systems.
In 1986, Mr. Martinoli established the third company
of the Group, JETPHARMA SA, in Balerna (in the south of Switzerland),
from which originates the name of the whole JETPHARMA GROUP.
JETPHARMA SA has been founded in order to satisfy the growing and
different needs of the global pharmaceutical market, for example
the contract micronization services for small batches of high value
R&D substances, or with specific conditions such as cryogenic
processing, or the micronization of Highly Potent Active Pharmaceutical
Ingredients in a JETPHARMA Glove Box Isolator, and to promote the
international sales of own MC JETMILL®.
Internationally the JETPHARMA GROUP has
continued its growth with the creation of JETPHARMA FRANCE Sarl at Eragny
s/Oise in 1999 and JETPHARMA USA, Inc. in South Plainfield in December
2000.
At the end of 2003, JETPHARMA GROUP joined its know-how and experience with Mr. Ewart Richardson and Mr. Andrew Lemaire,
experts with a thorough knowledge and vast experience in the field of barrier isolation technology and pharmaceutical process engineering in general,
and created a new centre of excellence named "ISOLATION SOLUTINS SA" in Tessin for tailor-made barrier isolation solutions
for both sterile and toxic processes.
Today, JETPHARMA GROUP focuses on three complementary and synergetic activities:
- The Research, development, manufacturing and sale of
fluid jet mills - MC JETMILL® - for micronization of powders.
- Contract micronization services using more than 20 MC JETMILL®
in its two ISO 9001:2000 certified sites, that micronize
strictly observing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)and subject to international governmental inspections.
In New Jersey, we offers contract micronization of small quantities and technical trials.
- A new Centre of Excellence for containment and isolation solutions - an "holistic approach that starts from the Front End Design Study, development,
design, engineering, manufacture, installation, commissioning, validation, training to the after-sale services.
Being at the same time manufacturers and utilizers of our own technology,
allows us to keep on improving the quality of our micronization
systems.
With ISOLATION SOLUTIONS SA, JETPHARMA GROUP is becoming the biggest worldwide user-producer of micronization and pharmaceutical
process containment systems."
